NASA Let’s the Sun Shine In!
Let NASA take over your classroom for the day! Teachers in the Washington D.C./Metro area and southern Pennsylvania are eligible for a visit from an Solar Dynamics Observatory educator or scientist. Your students will learn about solar clocks, Earth's place in the solar system, electricity and magnetism, the electromagnetic spectrum, and the Doppler effect. Visits are free, they include all supplies for the activity, and can be customized for each teacher.
