About MAEOE

Since 1985, the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE), a nonprofit educational association, has served thousands of teachers (and students at all grade levels), natural resource managers, nature center staff, and environmental program managers with dynamic training programs, workshops, conferences, awards programs, networking opportunities, publications, and related materials and resources.

Vision: MAEOE seeks to develop a Maryland citizenry that understands and is engaged in responsible environmental behavior and stewardship.

Mission: MAEOE promotes excellence in environmental education by training and supporting Maryland educators.
